Divine Liturgy

The heart of Orthodox worship, celebrated every Sunday morning at 10 AM with sacred choral singing in Russian and Church Slavonic. All are welcome to attend and experience the timeless beauty of the Byzantine liturgical tradition.

Great Vespers

Every Saturday evening at 6 PM, the parish gathers for Great Vespers — a candlelit service of prayer and psalmody that ushers in the Lord's Day, drawing the faithful into the ancient rhythm of Orthodox worship.

Holy Sacraments

The Church administers all the Holy Sacraments of Orthodox Christianity — Baptism, Chrismation, Confession, Holy Matrimony (the Crowning), and Holy Unction. Contact our clergy to arrange a Sacrament for your family.

Holy Annunciation is a Russian Orthodox parish in the heart of Flushing, New York, serving the faithful of Queens and Long Island under the Eastern American Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR).

Our liturgical life follows the timeless tradition of Eastern Orthodoxy — choral singing in Russian and Church Slavonic, the full cycle of services through the liturgical year, and the administration of all the Holy Sacraments.

  • Traditional Orthodox Liturgy Every service follows the complete Byzantine rite, sung in Russian and Church Slavonic by our dedicated parish choir in keeping with longstanding Orthodox tradition.

Archpriest Ion Arama serves as the rector of Holy Annunciation Church, guiding the parish's spiritual life, pastoral care, and sacramental ministry.

Together with the parish clergy and the sisterhood, Fr. Ion leads the congregation through the full cycle of Orthodox worship and community life throughout the liturgical year.
